Jack Chambers - Australia's Favorite Dancer

Well here is part 3 of my trip. Lets just say it was quite stressful leading up to the performance. I had to spend 2 days trying to find the costume that Mia Michaels wanted me to wear…and you wouldn’t think it would be really hard to find a 60’s black tight fitting suit…but it was. I tried every Vintage shop, costume shop and even a suit shop, but couldn’t find exactly what Mia wanted. So instead I bought a brand new suit from ZARA hehe. All that aside - it came to the day of the performance, and I wake up with really bad stomach pains….I had a stomach bug…I will spare you the details, but I basically couldn’t keep my food down etc. Of all the days to get sick it had to be the day that I was to perform in America!!! Luckily I didn’t perform til 12.45am, so I had the whole day to try and get better. Yeah I know…12.45am is very late to perform a routine, in Australia that is. The performance went really well considering I wasn’t my healthiest. The crowd really loved it, and so did the agents ;) and Mia said she would love to work with me again. J So I am all smiles.

Well I was meant to fly to New York the very next day, but I changed the flight to go to San Jose to watch the recent SYTYCD dancers on their tour. It was a great show, and they were all very lovely people. I caught the tour bus back to LA with them all after the show. Now that was fun. They had these luxurious buses, with beds, a kitchen, lounge rooms…you name it. I was on the boy bus, and my sister went on the girl bus. Me and Joshua(the winner) compared our experiences on the show, and realised that we were quite similar in many ways. We are both 19, his partner Katie and him were never in the bottom 3. Neither was me and demi. We both sing…and so on. I also had nice chats with Thayne and Mark(who was my favourite from the season). So yeah….it was an awesome experience.

Well I am about to catch my flight to NEW YORK now. WHOOOOO!!!! So excited. I will be meeting up with agents during my stay there which will be great. Will keep you all updated.
